Oregon Jet Sprint Boats - September 18, 2010

Today, I decided I was going to do something that didn't involve email, talking on the phone, sitting down, or being inside. Oregon Jetboats had a race near Albany, Oregon - this is a qualifier run from early in the morning. This was not one of the fastest runs, but it was decent enough. Some of the later boats were crazy fast. Anyway, not a bad morning in the rain. Supposedly these boats do 0-100 in under 3 seconds, and pull up to 7g's in the turns. Can't say it's farfetched to think that. As usual in YouTube, the soundtrack just won't do justice to the noise these things make as they blast by.

Actually, the audio on this is _totally_ messed up. Quicktime's "save selection" apparently doesn't clip the audio at the same point (???) so there is about a 22 second lag and the end of the audio is not played. Anyway, you get the idea.
