After four days of cleaning off black paint that had covered the original tan paint and three hours cleaning all the crud out of the original motor, my formerly derelict-looking black/rust/corrosion 3242 lives again. Original wiring, original wheels, original paint, polished brass and the reverse unit was removed long ago. This loco was only made in 1926 I believe and the tan paint is a very scarce color for these. Sorry for the poor video quality!
Handsone loco and a good runner. It's great when you can remove the overpaint and the original paint is in good enough condition. Congratulations!
