@PinupPerversion True, I finally read all the way to the end. It seemed kind of like a cop-out, if you ask me. A way to make it easy and attempt to make it, well... make sense. I must admit, it would be less weird for a step-brother and step-sister to end up a couple than a foster parent and their adopted child. Although not particularly wrong, I think it is... strange. You'd think the parent would always see the child as just that... a child. I would, lol.

@kirby28645 Its not really that the grandfather and the maid thing is weird, it's the relationship in the manga that happens with Rin and Daikichi that I find odd. Taboo's aside, and it's not incest or anything because they arent really related, it's still nonetheless a bit odd. I mean he's the guy who essentially raises Rin, and they end up a couple. I mean, that is kinda off yeah?

I haven't gotten to the ending of the manga yet, though I know what happens. Actually, it's kind of fitting, considering the fact that his grandfather married a very young woman (or at least had a child with her). The ending echoes the beginning. Also, our taboos in the West aren't all the same as those in the East. If you don't read the manga from that view and with an open mind, of course it will be weird to you. :P
