My first skydive - AFF Level 1 Solo First Jump

I went to Skydive Dallas and made my first jump a solo. After taking about 7 hours worth of class time, we were ready to make the jump! What an awesome time! HUGE thanks to my classroom instructors Jeff and Nick, and to my jump instructors Spanky and Gary. Also, Bubbles, who filmed the whole thing. Everyone was awesome at Skydive Dallas!

I got my license at Skydive Dallas, and after jumping at several other dropzones, I can tell you without a doubt it's the best DZ in the country! The A License package there costs $2600 and includes all 7 AFF Jumps, 9 Skydive University Jumps, a Hop N Pop, 8 solo jumps, your USPA fees, and a parachute packing class (you are required to pack your own parachute for your A license.)

I want to get my license so bad!!! How much did it end up costing you, and how long did it take? I live an hour away from Skydive AZ which would cost $3500 without the videos, but I know they're one of the largest drop zones so not sure if that's overkill on the cost.
