Victory Day Parade rehearsal, St Petersburg Russia, 2008.
The band is a composite of Army and Navy bands under one conductor. On this clip, the conductor's stand is moved closer to the public address truck and then the band marches some 30 meters closer at the beat of a drum tattoo. The band then breaks into the Victory Day Song (День Победы), sung by two choirs of civilians (left and right of PA truck) seen between the band and the camera. The next song is "The Red Army Song". This is at the end of the Parade, after all the units have marched.
By the way, the time is about 8:30PM in late April and there is still plenty of day light, not quite a White Night yet, but getting closer.
