New Year's Day 2012

A short series of clips and photos taken New Year's Day in the Linville Gorge Wilderness area of NC. I spent the day with three of the other original Gorge Rats ... Ken, Jim and Glen. We removed a few trees along Rock Jock and made our way to Sunshine Point for a lunch on the point below the magnificient views of the NC Wall. Breakfast at Louise's Rock House Restaurant started the day and a dinner there with Glen ended the first day of the year. Good food, good fellowship with great friends and of course the Linville Gorge. Can't think of a much better way to start the year.
