John Taylor Gatto is an American retired school teacher of 29 years 8 months and author of several books on education.

He is an activist critical of compulsory schooling and the hegemonic nature of discourse on education and the education professions.

when one considers the trillions put into education & the pressure/unhappiness that children are forced to endure, it's obvious that something is wrong somewhere. the vast amount of subjects forcefully taught will never ever be applied in adult life. it's child molestation & a crazy kook setup run by sadists. children grow up like broiler chicken, sick & ready to be slaughtered by the owners.

is it also a coincidence that they never teach children about money in school as if it's a dirty word ?

How many of you know Theoretical Quantum Physics equations and the price of an 8-ball? Or can quote the works of Shakespeare while understand that Bf3 is clearly better than MW3? Do you understand? Education doesn't restrict itself to your scholastic career and you certainly don't stop learning once you graduate.....so what deems a person intelligent? I don't know about you guys but to me, a genius is a person who is happy....think about that

Anyone really thinking about how it is, must question, as I did why parents don't work at their own business and teach their children how to run their own or adjunct business. Rather than husband, wife and children being totally seperated and paying through the nose in taxes, they could and should be having a wonderfully productive fulfilling life experience. Instead of paying useless college fees, put the money into a business investment.
