Cleo (and Steve) VS Second Life (part 1)

Sort of by request, since I know a good percentage of you are Second Life players, Steve and I decided to explore Second Life as it is today. I used to play it quite often years ago, but haven't touched it until now. Luckily my stuff was still there, though I totally forgot how to play and all my friends aren't on there anymore. Also unluckily, the game seems to have gotten unbearably laggy, despite the fact that I have a very fast computer and internet speed. o.-

@GamesR4FITE If someone wants to spend that much, it's their decision I suppose. Not defending SL - it can be pretty ridiculous sometimes, but I love it. So I suppose I just had to say somethin' after seeing this on tumblr. To enjoy SL you gotta be kinda crazy, which is just fine with me.

@Voltiel Except that $17 a month gives you access to ALL of WoW, whereas individual objects have individual prices in SL...you could easily blow three times $17 for one twentieth the content.

@GamesR4FITE Ah! Well, I see it no different from the people that play WOW or subscribe to a magazine. You're paying for what you make of the stuff you get in SL. ;3

@GamesR4FITE Yes. There is no fixing it, however, I think LL is a bit too settled on their changes to ever take advice from anyone. They're not friendly nor helpful. Even over the phone they've treated me like shit.The only reason the put up with people? Money.
