  • I' ve been there and it was so fucking nice

  • Clearly, NO airplane should be knowingly flown into a tropical convergence anvil, but I do suspect that mechanical backups could be of help when the hail hits the fan!

  • Thanks for your reply I didn't realize i was conversing with a professional. great, I am a student in aerospace industry.

  • There has been a few others incidents on 330s quoted by CNN, where the autopilot + aircraft control system computer partially failed due to glitch in signals forcing the aircraft into a gradual dive and the pilots struggled to finally regain control. Wonder if they fully fixed that all service aircrafts.computer are very sensitive if not thoroughly programmed right, a single bite of unexpected data could crash it. That is why I am nervous about computer flying the plane with a lot of inertia.

  • After that 330 crash, will airlines reconsider buying a 100% fly by wire control system? And revisit its reliability under partial system failure.
