@MrVielanda ... Thanks for the nice words,. But no, TAP has a much longer history at JFK than Newark. In it's 707 and 747 days -- it was all JFK. Newark came into the picture in either the late 80's or early '90s. And this was taken around 2000, so TAP's been at JFK a very long time.

I thought TAP was flying to newark... never saw a tap a340 in JFK, and with the old livery. Nice video as always, thanks for uploading!

@tbird209 all I can say is..who had any idea that the 'love for planes' would take one this far...I didn't. And I'm promised some Heathrow access on my next trip there, but it's Narita access is what I'd really like to get my paws on.
and Aer Lingus videos?

I like that you have a lot of old videos.

@767USAir ..thanks, there's tons where that came from.. but let's just wait until more people have the need to look back into the past a bit more, then I'll let more of it be seen.

You can tell this is an old video prolly from the mid 90's. TAP hasnt landed in JFK for years now. Plus there planes have the new paint job on them.
BTW anyone notice TWA in the back?! lol.

@FCPNo1Portuguese0604 . it's the 'Old Videos' that are worth seeing --anyone can got out and shoot new TAP A319s to A340s (what everyone is doing now) but there are very few 'good quality' OLDER vids -- in fact if only more people shot 'Old Video/8mm film' we'd be looking at original TAP 747s and TAP 747s in this color scheme in action (I'd kill to see TAP 747 video) -- but nooo ... no one thought it was that important..now it's too late. And it's not mid 90's...it's late 2001 when I shot this.
