was it that hard of an engine swap with the 402 and what was in it originally? good song too

No it wasn;t hard. The hardest part was pulling the motor out of the motorhome. The 402 came out of a 25ft 1972 Open Road motorhome I bought for $250. It ran really strong, but I put a Comp 268 cam in it and an aluminum intake when it went into the Suburban. But for some reason in the Suburban it just didnt seem as powerful. Right now it's torn apart and the motor is getting different heads.

give it the decensy of a good paint job

Being's that I have made a $200 profit off this Suburban and parts in it and still have it as a whole rig... paint wasn't much of a factor. Though maybe this year I'll break out the rattlcans and so some sort of paint job on it.
