Canon HV30 ( High Definition )......1st Test unedited

This was my 1st test with my new Canon HV30 HDV Camera.. This was just a test and is unedited.. along With the HV30 I used a digital high definition 0.45X wide angle lens with macro and a UV filter.. The setting was Auto with a record mode as PF30 (1080 HDV30fps) ....

Please note: I don't have my Firewire cable yet.. so even though it was filmed in HD it was uploaded to my comp in SD and re-rendered back to HD in Sony Vegas 8 Pro

can you do a video with just the hv30 in a quiet room with no outside sound just the sound of the hv30 i want to know if it makes noise from the miniDV tape....if you already know what sound it makes if that at all just message me.Thanks

err... there is a port for use with the Firewire cable on the HV30

I need to know if the HV30 has a firewire port. I have a firewire and my camera won't work in importing because it only uses usb? Does HV30 have firewire? PLEASE TELL!
