Hey Bobby, I have a song on C open tuning but I raised the 5th string to A#. and did not raise my 2nd string to C. so my C is in the second fret in the 5th string. It works great for my song, but its hard to figure out the solo for it, could it be because my 5th string is raised, and my second is not? what do you think?.
Thanxs

This is NOT Open C tuning...!!
You would call this C6 tuning, because the OPEN STRINGS MAKE A C6 CHORD.
This is the tuning Jimmy Page uses for Bron-y-aur as well. Nice job on "Friends" by the way!
