dont need downforce if you have centrifugal force!
-
where can i test drive this?

Fake!

Speed and centrifugal force were all that was needed to do this stunt without the ramps made out of pavement and the exact timing of the driver this stunt would of been fatal very risky and very real but a stunt never the less and if you look very closely at the video you will see the car doing a curved path of speed and centrifugal force and not staying on the roof upside down for very long because it probably would of dropped like a rock but never the less Great commercial Mercedes, thanks

ewww gross doors.

Not a chance in Hell this could ever be pulled off! This car doesn't have the down force nor the Perfect conditions to come close! Great Commercial but that is it. Benz did do something with this car! Caused us to get into arguements about it's abilities. Any publicity is good publicity.

This video isnt real. the concept of doing it IS tho. there are even cars (f1 cars and few others) with sufficient down force that they could be conceivably driven upside down. but to my knowledge, there have been no drivers willing to test this theory. also, though a beautiful, powerful car. the amg doesnt have the down force necessary to even equal out its weight. sorry guys. still, a fun commercial.

does anybody have ever heard about barrel roll on a airplane ?
It is the same principle....
Now the film could have been shot with a small angle lens which makes the distance larger than it is really is.
Anyway, this is quite a good example of good and creative advertising.

redundant gravity is redundant

there's no way that car can produce enough downforce to to that.
I have to have this car before I die. That and screwing Beyonce are the only two things in my bucket list.
