Every time I see this in concert, (which, by the way, is a lot) I just about cry with the photos put up on the screen. I usually somehow manage to imagine a few of my own friends faces who have passed before their time... RIP boys...

sorry to tell papawx3 that "that other guy" is alright is ridiculous but it is.....Derek Trucks is widely recognized as one of the very best guitar players in the world today (just ask Eric Clapton who asked him to tour with him) Dicky was awesome but he's gone now....time to move on.

I last saw them back in 1998 or 99, when Dickey was still with them. Warren was there too. I agree, they were AWESOME. However, I would probobly not pay good $ to see them now. Just isn't the Bros without Dickey. The guy they replaced him with is allright, don't get me wrong, but he is no Dickey Betts.

This 'incarnation' of the Allman Brothers Band is absolutely golden. Best they've sounded since Duane died... this video doesn't have the best sound quality but I've got the released CD on my computer with wonderful sound... really gets the feel of the sound better than this video.. simply because this video didn't use professional sound recording and editing technology.
