So I'm planning on buying this comp. and using it for recording full HD1080p video walkthroughs, which I realize is going to take a very powerful comp. Now the first game I want to do Is Halo:Combat Evolved on legendary which shouldn't tax the comp. to much. For the last part of your question, the answer is no. The video card isn't powerful enough. If you want that, I'd suggest looking into an Alienware M17x.

for those that complain about gaming on laptops let me just say that there's a new breed of gamers. the type who have lives and go out, but are still gamers at heart and like to play in between or even while meeting up with something called friends.

u should change post processing to gamer then up shadows and object quality. postprocessing on high and very high hardly any diff but take alot of fps

@paradoxpbteamplaya Yeah same with me. Its a pain in the ASS. I get 130fps due to specs, but 15fps cause its always overheated.
