  • Ninja, can u make just the small N64 console guide? Cause i cant figure out how to do it (im only 10)

  • Do you mean the one from Nintendo Papercraft? There's a picture of the finished model in the blogpost.

You can see it's basically just a box: I think it would be easiest to first glue together the sides of the box, and then close the top.

The front has a curved top, so you will need to follow that curve with the top part (you can see it's a little longer than you would expect if the box was straight.

Then you can make the little "legs" and glue them to the corners as in the picture.

  • I must admit that I haven't made it myself yet, and I have my doubts that the shape of the top part is correct (I think the sides should be straight, not angled, and the edge that goes over the curved front should be curved itself as well I think...)

Paper allows for some "cheating" though, so maybe you need to make some adjustments while you are building it...

Good luck and have fun building!

  • can you make a paper craft N64

  • Haha I actually had the plan to make a life sized N64 a long time ago already, but it's one of the many unfinished ideas on my to do-list...

I don't know if (when I make it) I will still make it life sized, and when I will really start working on it; it might be a really long time before I finish it...

  • I was answering another question, and I rembered I totally forgot about one at Nintendo Papercraft (posted August 29, 2008 in the console section; URLs don't work in the comments, but I'm sure you'll find it ;o)

That one you can build now, like I said; I have no idea yet when I will make my own version... ;o)

  • ok thats fine with me

  • please tell me what it is so i can download it!!!

  • Yes, I usually use Metasequoia too, sometimes SketchUp. Unfolding the models isn't difficult, what you need to do is already know how you want to unfold them, and re-model the 3D model accordingly (make sure there's a seam where you want to cut apart the pieces for example).

Test build your models frequently, and you'll find out if it still needs fixing soon enough. ;o)

That's the best advice I can give you I think: learn by doing. ;o)

  • thanks man
