Interestingly you will likely never gain agreement that racism exists from those who practice it on a daily basis. It is either so deeply woven pulling a single thread would unravel their entire reality.

@yamalg I agree - I've been saying this for years..Bravo!
-
Munk, again you're spot on.
-
Do somthing with the elephant lol.
-
@yamalg I understand what you are saying but the reality is that people are treated differently by race sometimes (like it or not)
-
Munk, Keep up the pressure and help unleash the force of real black power on the foundation of American prosperity and we will all benefit. Signed, white guy.

@tyoneal Exactly, and I find it fascinating that the people who have experienced the worst of humanity often have the most hope and appreciation for the little things. You bitch and moan when your football team loses? Sudanese "lost boy" says "At least your family wasn't chopped up by machetes." You missed the bus/train on your way to work? Yugo refugee says "At least your neighborhood wasn't bombed while UN troops stood around doing nothing."
-
@yamalg That's what I was talking about, the places I mentioned are HELL compared to here. Here ia not perfect, but Here is not THERE. The Sudanese are a beautiful people, but the Warlords, Government, and criminal element are bad beyond imagination. Being in the US is like being at Club-Med for ANY race. Don't believe me make the trip yourself like I did. It will Fucking turn your world upside down.
Alright. Since we're being real here... I think political correctness is killing our society. Everybody is walking on eggshells trying not to offend other people. We need to drop the syntax of "race-american" and just start calling ourselves AMERICANS. We're maintaining the idea of segregation through verbal conditioning. The whole paradigm keeps us divided into little groups that quarrel amongst each other (and amongst themselves).

@tyoneal where is the hyphen? A perfect example...you would like to dictate how I identify myself, yet I have no desire to do the same for you. It's not a "black center". It's the multi-purpose room at the predominantly white Pace University. Your solution is exactly what I'm discussing in this video. Your belief that if we merely call ourselves Americans the poverty, poor decision making, lack of education, etc. will cease. You have a response to a panel that hasn't happened. Relax.
