At age 7, Gonzalo performs his first professional recording in San Antonio, Texas. His vocal instructor and legend Seth Riggs (teacher to Michael Jackson, Julio Iglesias and Lionel Richie) confirms his potential as a Latin artist, and at the beginning of 2010 records his debut album as a soloist, titled 'Borderless', a half-English half-Spanish compilation. Gonzalo is awarded singer-songwriter of the year at the 2010 Los Angeles Music Awards as well as honorable mention in the 2009 Billboard World Song contest.
