A Continental Airlines Boeing 767-200 jet carrying 179 people from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to Houston, Texas, hit severe turbulence over the Atlantic near Dominican Republic early Monday on August 03, 2009, injuring at least 26 — including four seriously — and forcing an emergency diversion/landing in Miami International Airport.
There were 168 passengers and 11 crew members on board in Flight 128.
The plane reported hitting severe turbulence at 4:30 a.m. (0830 GMT) and landed safely about an hour later at Miami International Airport.

@CaptainSazzman Air France uses a couple A320's on it's carribean routes (primarily st-marrten) Because of places like the French Antilles, Haiti and Guadeloupe which are all french gouverned countries and islands.

I think Flight Attendants make an announcement saying that the seat belt signs are off but we encourage you to WEAR them at ALL TIMES...Stop crying people ( I know I sound like an ass) its your own fault you were injured...They warned you to keep it on at all times
