1200 rms is still alot, but it isn't seeing 1200 rms just playing music. It's really hard to get full rms out of an amp just playing music.

How long did that r handle that punishment b4 u upgraded to the BL??? I'm running two new 12" 600rms R's with two mrp-500 and IT AINT LOUD ENOUGH!!!!!! WHAT???? IT AINT LOUD ENOUGH!!!!! lol (def humor)... I'm reconsidering the mrp's for an MB Q dsk1.5k, but Idk if the r's will handle this every day 2.5hrs a day 6 days a week. I've also been planning in the future for two BL 12's, so maybe I should look at the dsk2k instead..... Whats your opinion? Nice system's by the way, Beats be Quak'n

R's are extremely underrated and can take well over their RMS.

type rs can only take 500 watts rms max buddy anymore than that the sub wouldnt last long

throw a 100A inline fuse and see if it burns out..if not then u not getting over 1000watts. when I used a 50A inline fuse with a rockford 1001bd amp, it blew, but when i use a 100A fuse, it didnt so i know im getting 500-900 watts

well good thing u brought that up then because thats exactly what happen. i used to run 4G with a walmart 100A fuse nd the entire holder melted.
