  • Can you clean a older pinball playing field the same way? Mine is a 1971 william with lots of wood and the play field looks like its painted on.

  • @vwrule Yes you can. Just make sure are very gentle when using the magic eraser. If you rub hard enough it can take the paint off the wood. Otherwise the same techniques should work on your machine.

We have also featured your question on episode 19 of our Q&A podcast. Please listen to it for more of our thoughts on your question. Thank you for your question and good luck with future repairs.

  • 4:36 - 5:18 ahahahahahhaah

  • @vwrule I just cleaned a 1975 Bally Old Chicago and a 1965 Midway Flying Turns using a magic eraser. No harm at all. It will remove your wax so have some handy. Wring the water out and be careful as the magic eraser will fall apart as you use it. Simple Green or other similar products work well. Just use lightly. Don't drown the surface.

  • @vwrule

I prefer Wilcat #125 playfield polish. This stuff works great and will not mar your playfield!!

  • Still hadnt put a bulb in yellow s of kiss

  • now that your balls are good and clean, get out your rubbers... classic!

  • Water and wood???? Do you really want to do that? You know how much wood HATES water??

  • More of these!!! Would love to see in HQ on a 90´s Williams/Bally game.

    Keep up the good work!

  • you shouldn't clean your playfield with water ive heard...Use the magic eraser with your novus cleaner.
