I guess that had a lot of trouble with the NY crew, turning the PAs down during theSY set. The Neil Young audiences were not always too happy with Sonic Youth either.

This is from City Limits! I remember watching it, holy fuck - 17 or so years ago! You can even tell Kim Clarke Champniss is hosting.

Judging by the typeface used it's probably the Much Music television show "The New Music" circa the mid '90s. Much Music is the Canadian equivalent to MTV, or atleast it was until "MTV CANADA" debuted last year. That's a wicked SY sweater he's wearing.
