Can't stand the first few seconds of the song, cause it sounds so much like my own alarmclock in the mornin...-_-..other than that awesome song! :D

im glad that Reg is in this because it was quite hard for him to find work after his nervous breakdown, and that's why hes not in The Bill anymore. Good on you Reg!

Here's my interpretation (of the lyrics)
"Hello My friend I see you're back again."
-A friend came back. Possibly a band member
"Hello Mystery, Don't bother to explain"
-Maybe he didn't know why the guy left, but he doesn't want to know anymore
"How about maybe, it's all been in my head"
- Kinda like saying lets pretend it never happened
"I'm so tired of all this black and blue..."
- He's tired of beating himself up over this issue.
