What does an MRI scan sound like?

wouldnt the noise itself compromise your brain's chemials?

Oh my goood!! I just had this today!! Those noises do make a good Rock composition, though! Just add drums.....

If you learn how the machine works you would be impressed.. I don't mind the sound at all.

i had one last night. and i was in the machine for 40 mins. Its comfy. It also makes a series of sounds low pitched and high pitched. Near the end of the scan i did feel some pain on the top of my head. This is not supposed to happen. In this case they have never herd of that. They told me to tell my doctor. In the last six weeks i have had an unknown series of pains in the right side of my head. So i hope they can find something.

i have to have one every months and they make more sounds than that sometimes it feels a bit like ur shaking but if u relax its not that bad

when i was put through the mri i was quite annoyed with the scanner sounds

i hav 2 hav 1 soon n it sounds scary how long does a head scan last for?

Looking at the time on the scanner above around 2min?

I just had a head scan this morning - it only took 10 mins - the noise is the worst part - I couldn't hear my own thoughts. I am claustrophobic too so I was freaked. Was easier than I expected.
