My initial reaction to resomation is URGHHHHHHH. The benefits that are touted are "low environmental impact" WTF??????!!!!! Are you saying that in the context of the environmental impact of my 70,80,90 years of life, you're getting cheap on the energy consumed disposing of me? That's just offensive.

Resomation isnot so much burning as it is cooking down in an alkili solution, I think it sounds less barbaric then buring with fire in a giant incinerator. but I wish to be buried unembalmed so I dont have all the nasty chemicals comming out of me and I can feed Gods creation once more , this is how they bury brothers of the order of St Bennidict, in the ground with pine branches covering the body, as for overcrowding build tall mausaliums for the dead, use the vertical space. my 2cents

If this device leaves a cleaned, intact skeleton behind I wonder if they would allow the family member to take the skeleton home with them? Mind you, I certainly wouldn't want it. But you know how people are these days. Somewhere there's a mofo that wants to have their brother's skeleton on display for whatever the reason.
