  • More people should have cared. It's a shame that everybody just wanted to get to Miami. Personally I really liked the a300

  • Nobody spoke english on the flight, they really didn't care, even at the gate (except they were first in line for all the food!).

  • It's too bad most of the passengers didn't give a damn and just wanted to get to Miami ASAP. RIP American Airlines A300.

  • @churupaca1 I'm sorry, but you're wrong! I always take this flight, i'm from Brazil, and I can speak English!

  • were tacos and burritos served on the flight. a non-english speaking food.

  • @Pvjinflight Delta, Northwest merged with Delta in 2008 and they already removing DC-9s from operation.

  • @TheWarPlanet Well North West still flies with ancient DC-9´s I think?

  • At gatwick, I was on a Thomas cook a330 to palma for a holiday, when taxing at LGW I saw monarch A300 Which are still in service!

  • @TheWarPlanet If you want to see tired, old, AA jets, step on a 757. Same monitors. Dirty and they stink. Some still airborne from 1989. I hate American.

  • They could put on Miami Salvador , 757 is to old !

  • i am so happy igot the opportunity to fly on the a300 Pan Am and AA and i also worked for both carriers i remember when they were delivered from France brand spanking new but say no more AA has ordered 240 a320's and 200 Boeing 737

in an effort to replace their fleet with fuel efficent aircraft Yahoo!!!!!!!

  • @pk33617 OK, well by "major US airline," I meant the big legacy airlines like United, Delta, and American, those that were big airlines even before the 1978 airline deregulation. Yes, I guess you could say that Southwest is a major US airline, but it's not a legacy carrier.

And yes, Southwest does have an all-Boeing fleet (So does Alaska Air)

  • Such a sad video, sure miss the A300 :-( Beautiful airplane, and fun to fly on. RIP A300.
