OK enough..time for some people to get real..I too was a James Dean fan until the scales fell from my eyes..as an actor he had a very narrow and mannered range , check out some of his many (over 20) TV appearances ..the image of the "little boy lost", misunderstood and misjudged is just that - an image..Dean was sensitive - sensitive towards his own feelings and completely INsensitive to those of others, including, according to Kazan, wardrobe and make-up personnel..legend and man, both phoney

It is a legend, one of the most great actors and pioneers of cinema. He's My hero even if i'm of another generation. RIP.
