Went to #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1973. Uploaded from the If You Leave Me Now LP. This was a cheap compilation thrown together by Columbia Records in 1982 to try and cash in on the band's come back. The song selection on the album is very weak, and it's not worth hunting down if you already own the studio albums the songs were originally on, or the 45's.

  • If I was dictator of the world, I would ban MP3s and CDs and force everyone to listen to music on vinyl, every other format is an abomination. Cassettes and 8-tracks would be legalized too, but just for nostaligia purposes.

  • I just picked up this album at a thrift sale this morning for a buck. It's in the original plastic and looks brand new. The art work is impressive and the album sleeve is worthy to be framed, which I may do.

  • @toucansam3 When you run for dictator you got my vote, ha ha ha

  • @toucansam3 Ha! Radio sucks! DJs don't pick the music any more (we want more than the same ol' top 40!) AND there's far too many commercials! I'm leadin' a revolt, man! You saw what happened to Gadhaffi, or Kaddafi or Daffy Duck or whatever the heck they called him!

BTW... 8-track tapes & cassettes are horrible... tapes derail far too easy, and get munched! I'll take LPs for home listening, but CDs for backup AND to transfer to iPod/MP3 player!

  • When I saw the turntable I thought the arm was in the wrong place for Feeling Stronger Every Day. I have the original Chicago VI it came from and though it's been a long time since I've played the vinyl, I was pretty sure it was the last track of the side.

Compilation album is why it's in the wrong place.

  • @toucansam3 Good idea. Little tough to carry the turntable with me on the morning train ride though.

  • @screwyootube1 That's what radio is for, and it must be played by the DJ on a turntable. I did say you could listen to 8-tracks and cassettes, those are portable.

    Your dictator has spoken.

  • @toucansam3 So does that mean we can't listen to music on the go?

  • Awesome ;) Thanks for posting ;)

  • @toucansam3 Amen brother.

  • I actually have the If You Leave Me Now album on cassette. To me, it's not bad, but it could have been better.

  • Makes me feel both happy and sad
