This is for langocommunity or EDPILOYA, I think what you are doing is pirating and infringement of Acoli culture. You collected videos of Acoli (Acholi) dancers or singers but you failed to credit them properly. You have mislead the public by renaming the artifacts in your own way to promote sale or accessibility on the langocommunity website. Who gave you permission to do such a thing?

@believer2010ful-And on Obama- you are right. According to our culture. He is a luo 100%. By that I dont mean his genetic make up. Culturally he is expected to act like any other luo. His mother has less expectations culturally than him. Intermarriage is part of being luos. Our forefathers married from other tribes but their sons were never regarded as being lower-luos. But obama as a name has its own literal meaning...just like any other name.

@believer2010ful- the difference in the terms luo or lwo? No big difference. I think Uganda they are lwo but in Kenya (or most part of kenya), they are luo. The root meaning of the word goes way back and there is a disagreement as to that exact meaning. But literal meaning (one that I strongly agree with), means "to follow"- the word we use now in the luo langauge is luwo or luo. And this goes back to how we r spread in our home lands. The luo seemed "to follow" either a river or lake

I am soo proud to be a luo. When I had my first son, I had to call him Ramogi Ajwang! No human name came close, that gave me deep convictions of my roots, a sense of responsibilities to my environs and unselfish nature that servanthood requires of us!
Beautiful!
We, Latinos, really, inherited great wealth in music and dances from Africa.
Gracias, Africa.
