@microbuilder thank u

@electrosnerd Thanks! The airfoil was sanded in, quite roughly, to something resembling an AG03. Its a very thin wing though, which allows for higher launches, but lift suffers quite a bit. An airfoil without a flat bottom and a thicker profile would probably help a lot....either that or flaps. Shoot me a private message and I can send you the link for the rcgroups thread.

I'm looking to build something very similar to this for slope soaring along the sea walls where I live. Didi you use a specific wing section and do you have plans?
I love the launch, looks so straight as if it could climb forever

Thank you. If you build one, I'd love to see a video.

what is the wingloading of the glider??? and did u use servo for ailerons or just for elevator and rudder??
efbiaysiayey 11 months ago
@efbiaysiayey Wingloading is somewhere in the low 3oz/sq ft range, could float a little better on light days if it were a bit better. Aileron and elevator on this version, I did a rudder/elevator version earlier...ailerons are more fun!

where didi u put the servos please explain :)

@efbiaysiayey The glider uses a ParkZone AR6400 RX, which has the servos built onto it. Its in the kevlar pod with the lipo. I used light gage piano wire and CF rod for push rods for the aileron and elevator.
