This was from an April 2008 clinic Joe did at Guitar Center. He played about six songs or so, and talked a lot about music, insipiration, and the background of the songs inbetween them. You can tell he is still very much the music teacher at heart because his enthusiasm for the topic comes through very clearly while he's talking. Very nice guy too! He signed autographs afterwards and greeted everyone of the 350 people there like they were the only ones he was going to be speaking to that night. It's always nice when meeting a celebrity exceeds your hopes or expectations. This was a great experience and many kudos to Guitar Center for hosting it!

In this segment, he's just finished playing "Flying in a Blue Dream", and is discussing it. He analyzes the elusive nature of feedback, the harmonic structure of the song and the nature of the backing tracks in the song.
