This video is out of date you can run the 3D effects in Virtual box at full speed just fine...

I get a lot of 'noise' when I record audio from the soundcard /dev/dsp. I am running Kubuntu karmic. Can anyone help me?

1. Gusty is old
2. Istanbul doesn't work on anything newer than Hardy

Thanks, I need to get my capture tools working properly. XVidCap seems to crash leaving me to kill the process about 70 percent of the time. I'll certainly give the first two a try.
