The concept is sound as CO2 can be liquefied in tanks which should have much longer operation than mere compressed air. However there are much better air motors than this.It would be more interesting to see this tried out on a bicycle though (might be more practical).
Thanks for putting up this video mrmusty and your CO2 powered car.
I would like to see some follow up videos on this (with it moving, its maximum speed, range per pounds of CO2 etc)..
co2 out of the atmospher and use it to run our cars then what will the plants breath? But why should we care about the plants any way they breathed up all the co2 and turned it into coal and oil instead of releasing back for other plants to use. Wht are we worried about carbon emissions again?
But whats being used to compress any of the gas? Petrol powered compressor or better an electric one?
Come on people its like plugging a car into the mains socket and having a really really long extension cable and claiming that it doesnt take any fuel to run it?!?!??!
I don't think this is a serious attempt.. Look at the small cylinder: It wouldn't be capable of propelling the car forward. Besides, it's better to use compressed air instead of CO2 gas. Look for "air powered car".
what I like about this guy's car is that he made use of a pre-existing vehicle and modified it. How many more cars actually need building. We need to do what the Cubans have been doing for years and simply make do with what's laying around.
