  • NO career politicians. Only two terms. And NO huge pension. That has to be abolished along with adding term limits. A good case in point is Al Franken. He is a failed comedian. He got in thanks to big showbiz bucks behind him, so he would be set for life.

    To summarize:

    * NO PENSION

    * TWO TERMS MAXIMUM

  • It starts with YOU! Imposing term-limits starts with YOUR choices at the voting booth. Know who the incumbents are, vote _arbitrarily_ if you must: choose alternate party, the new contender, choose women over men, minorities over Establishment white guys if you have to -- Simply know the tremendous POWER each of us hold to change the status-quo: flip that lever, push that button, check that box to effect change.

  • Ron Paul has tried to pass a bill to set term limits in congress for a while now.

  • I completely agree, I am just coming to the realization that Article V has been denied for so long. I have often wondered why the electoral process never has to face the scrutiny of tenured congressional seats or even the electoral college structure for that matter.

  • you got some good points, if President can have term limits, why not the house of representatives and the senate.
