Pokémon Battle W11-005: Blah (DS)

(I don't know why annotations keep having a blank space at the bottom...also speech bubble annotation has gotten a major nerf with its 'tail'.)

Blah is one of my longtime friends from VGchat and we are Pokémon Bros. :3
He brings in some of his classics that I remember (some better than others) and they're pretty solid guys. Will the losing streak of 4 straight TPX losses continue?

Wait, so he attempted a Hidden power Ice (not a common move on Gengar) to defeat your specially bulky magnezone thinking you would switch to Gliscor, who isnt at all specially bulky nor is he much of a threat to gengar.? Yup you were out played :O

You really didn't trust Wave Man this battle. Where was he for Kingdra the first time? What about for Nick's first Gengar usage? I though both were tremendous opportunities to use him, seeing as Empoleon is the one poke in the GAME that resists Kingdra's STAB.

@TheMaykarLocomotive I trust him to take a hit or two. I do not like the way he 4HKO's Kingdra while it sets up and resists my main priority move, however. Once poison was up (+ more SR to make it a probable 3HKO) I felt a lot better about that matchup.

Vs. Gengar, Aqua Jet is really weak (under 25%) and I was wary of TBolt/Focus Blast. Wanted to save HP for a potential Kingdra showdown if needed.

I do love me some useful-but-not-game-breaking crits.

Overall, I thought you earned it and didn't have it given to you, but the Heatran crit was kind of enormous. I think you still win without it (via Wave Man, perhaps), but it was timely and very very helpful.
