Radio CANDIP from Bunia in the Democratic Republic of Congo on shortwave 5066 kHz received in Germany on 10 April 2011 at 1900 UTC, shortly before signing off.
Receiver: Lowe HF-225 Europa with 40 m outdoor longwire antenna.
Distance between the 1 kW transmitter and my QTH: 5900 km (3571 miles).
To escape the severe level of local noise in my house, I did this reception in my car. The receiver was powered from the 12V car battery through a cigarette lighter adapter.
This was a first catch for me in 25 years of DXing!

@2010DFS Thank you! Yes indeed, it's a very hard catch. Their modulation is quite low making it even harder.
