Christ, I had nearly forgotten this unique meeting of huge talent - Palmer, Rossiter and Nobbs. Simply superb.

This is classic... Leonard Rossiter had a considerable penchant this kind of thing, and more so...

Add chavs, ASBOs, parliament, racists, fascists, assholes, Justin Bieber, Twilight fans, Wayne Rooney and that miserable newsreporter lady from Sky News to the list Jimmy.

@love4knowledge I love the pig farmers voice as well in series 2, it really makes me laugh. They were all good charactes; C.J., David Harris-Jones (Super), and Tony Webster (Great). I bought the box set a couple of years back as well having watched a few episodes on Gold and I loved it.

Can one of you Brits post The Legacy of Reginald Perrin on here? We don't have it on dvd here in the states but I know it is out on Region 2. Cheers!

The Martin Clunes remake version wasn't so bad really. It did take a few episodes to bed in, but that, I think, is only because I, along with almost everyone else was comparing it to the original. And David Nobbs did have a hand in writing the new version so something of the original Reggie is going to be in there somewhere.

@Kitchiegeorgedotcom I didn't get where i am today by not recognising a good TV show when i see one!

I'm scared of the Papist Rapists... send for the Queer Admirals!
Just watched Reggie Perrin the New version...
Wow...how bad was that!..Im glad Leonard Rossiter isnt around to see his brilliant characterisation of the David Nobbs creation totally ripped to shreds by Martin Clunes and a truly pitiful script.Time really has moved on hasnt it?...gags about penis size menstruation and thrush left me wishing for a re-run of the original and thinking of ways to get a refund, however minimal, of the part of my licence fee that contributed to this drivel.....

"Bit of a cock-up on the catering front, Reggie" - most underrated catchphrase in sitcom history. Plus Reggie Perrin is one of the most underrated sitcoms of all time.
