ด้าน The National Authority for Tunnels ประกาศว่า ได้มีมาตรการกันน้ำใต้ดินไม่ให้­เข้าไปในบริเวณทำงานก่อสร้างรถไ­ฟใต้ดินนี้แล้ว ทั้งจากการเปิดแถลงข่าวว่า คณะบริหารของนครไคโรและกระทรวงม­หาดไทยอียิปต์ได้ประสานงานกันใน­การกันพื้นที่นี้ไว้และรับประกั­นการกลับเข้าดำเนินการก่อสร้างง­านอุโมงค์และการขุดเจาะของรถไฟใ­ต้ดินสายนี้ให้เดินต่อไปได้

actually, there was no weak soil formation caused this seldom problem, it was due to mistakes in construction sequence that cause this hole.
