@cchan006 Also, while the standard Superliner Sightseer Lounge is open to all passengers,the Pacific Parlour Cars are reserved for 1st Class (Sleeping Car) Passengers only.

@mesaraw: The first observation car is one of the Pacific Parlour cars, rebuilt from the original Santa Fe Hi-Level cars.

here's a question. Why isn't the name "superliner" written on the Amtrak cars anymore?

@ERAUPRCWA: It seems the "Superliner" lettering was removed when the paint scheme changed from Phase IV to Phase IVb.
