RCAF pilot tells story of a decapitation with a Hawker Hurricane

This is a WWII RCAF pilot's (Ivan Mouat) account of a German soldier walking in front of a low flying Spitfire and getting his head lopped off by the wing. Notice how he refers to the German's brains on the wing of the Spitfire as "grey mince"!

Old men's war stories. If the Huricane were low enough to take someone's head off, it would also be smacking the tips of its own propeller blades off since each of them is nearly as long as a man is tall.

If you check out the Hurricanes specs online, the distance from lowest part of the propeller to the lowest part of the wing is 3ft 4in (approximately 1 meter).

The Hurricane could behead a 6ft man at the neck and still have its' prop well over 2ft off the ground.

Very small margin of error.....but still very possible.

What about the millions of innocents your forefathers murdered in cold blood in Poland, Russia, France and numerous concentration camps. They were young soldiers with an agenda no other country had or has had since, so rightly so, Nazi Germany well deserved the beating it got, and the revulsion which is still felt towards its war crimes decades later. The fact that U "good guys" miss is, that most german soldiers, like most other soldiers, were innocent teenagers. You shitheads make fun of their deaths, but on the other hand you think of yourselves as the defenders of humanity. Learn about Ur own history B4 pointing fingers on others, USA p.e. is way ahead of germany in the killcount, and it hasn´t stopped killing yet. Same 4 most other "big "nations!!!

You should also tipe in " japanese americans 1942" in the wikipedia search bar, that would clear up some things too.

I am not trying to play down the holochaust, but both sides had some issues.

But don't forget that Britain is stained with the blood of millions of Asians, Spain slaughtered millions of native Mexicans, and America used force, and where that failed, lies, deceit and cowardice to commit genocide upon millions of native americans.
