  • Khatia is a revelation! What versatility as a pianist, handling a romantic and emotionally charged Chopin Ballade to this bombastic Brahms Piano Concerto. Who would have thought that such a seemingly delicate lady could make minced meat out of a grand piano--and with attendant expressions of an artist in a trance. You could literally sense the awe and facination of the orchestra on this talented and charming 20-year old wonder. I hope she gets ample recording opportunities and tours!

  • I listen to Khatia and at the same time I feel so much love coming out from her heart and soul. She is so beautiful and at the same time gifted. It's too unusual to meet those two things coincided each other. She really is unbelievable female performer. It is really incredible to imagine female playing Brahms so fantastically. For me Khatia is the 8th wonder of the world. I love and adore her. Many thanks to her mother and to her sweetest family. Sincerely, Gaga Abashidze

  • @urquell69 She is from Georgia, Tbilsi :)

  • Well, not quite perfectly, but almost...however, like i said, where did she (and the conductor) hide the music of Brahms? There is almost no music there, just sounds reminding of Brahms...

  • She plays too fast. She plays perfectly but this is not doing music but rather killing it...too much of a robot...

  • fue alumna de martha?? porque tiene una forma muy parecida de tocar...tal vez es casualidad

  • Buniatishvili is playing in the stratosphere while conductor (who is he?) is stuck on the ground. Conductor should let soloist set tempo, but he seems to hold her back at times. She wants to move Brahms into 21st century while he wants to stay in 19th.

  • Kahtia plays with exceptional maturity and strength given her young years. A future international name surely.

  • BRAVA !!!!

  • this is really lovely! one of the best Brahms 2 i've heard.

  • Bravo to this very gifted female pianist, her playing of Brahms is splendid. I'm very impressed with this young lady. Bravo again !!
