Fridays - Fighting Family Sketch (circa 1981)

This is a clip from the 1980s sketch comedy hit TV show, Fridays, about a family that likes to punch each others lights out whenever they feel like it. Note that when Melanie Chartoff (the grandmother) is punched by Maryedith Burrel (the mother), she actually knocks her tooth out. Since this was a live broadcast TV show, they had to continue with the scene, regardless.

Fridays had a good,talented,cast. But alas many of the skits just weren't very good. IMHO However this particular skit was one of the few times the show was actually funny. Love the part at 1:55 Granny really throws her sexy grandaughter a beatin'.! Cool!
