AROUND ZURICH: Stallikon

In the late summer and autumn of the year 2005 each Sunday I made a trip to a different municipality of the so called Greater Zurich area. With a complete disregard of weather conditions I descended on those places on my bike, armed with the video camera. While I am fully aware that I probably will never ever become the next Dziga Vertov, I am glad to say that it was fun editing the results in an effort to highlight the essence of the periphery of my home town.
Stallikon is tucked into a narrow valley behind Zurich's dominating hillcrest, the Uetliberg and the Albis chain. It is a fast growing commuter community to the south of the town.
