@VicariousReality7 Which is practically MOA at 2707 yards :)
-
@GetMeThere1 you're probably one to say a .22lr isn't effective at 400 yards as well.
-
@hifly78 : The clue I have is the title of the video, which states it's "effective." It's not. Let's be real.
-
@GetMeThere1 This is World record territory, I suspect you have no clue what's involved
-
That's why you are taking a kick at 2707 yards. Very nice. From Wiki:
British Army CoH Craig Harrison of the Household Cavalry successfully engaged two Taliban machine gunners south of Musa Qala in Helmand Province in Afghanistan in November 2009 at a range of 2,475 m (2,707 yd), using a L115A3 Long Range Rifle rifle chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum. These are the longest recorded and confirmed sniper kills in history

Sound blustery, what wind hold or windage did you have put in. Good job. Love the super long flight time.
-
So...it looks like it would be FULLY 100% EFFECTIVE at missing a man sized target at 2700 yards.
-
Kick ass editing job. Ill assume you are all active/veteran military.
-
Great work, you might not of actually struck the target, but the scare-factor and impacts would be buttoning it down in real life.
Anything over a mile is precision.
