VISION

"To reach out to the greater metropolitan area of San Antonio focusing on the multi-racial, urban, suburban and military population in this area to introduce them to the loving Lordship of Jesus Christ. We will then train them in the disciplines of the faith of Christ while helping them to discern and develop their unique spiritual giftings. These saints will then be linked relationally and functionally with other believers and deployed into geographically assigned areas of the city to conduct "Kingdom Campaigns." Such campaigns will result in the reign of the Kingdom of God in those areas. To reach out internationally to establish, strengthen, or extend works in the foreign mission field."


Beliefs

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe in one God- Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Creator of all things.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified, died, was buried, was resurrected, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true man.
We believe the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct.
We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal joy of the saved and the eternal punishment of the lost.
We believe in personal salvation of the believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ and that this is the only means of obtaining salvation.
We believe in sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit, and we believe in personal holiness, purity of heart and life.
We believe divine healing is part of the redemption that Jesus purchased through His blood and can be obtain through faith in the name of Jesus.
We believe in water baptism, in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth, in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), in the gifts of the Spirit of God. We believe that each of these are available to all believers.

i went to this church back in 89 when i was in the army at fort sam houston. we had pastor bud dewy. i remember the guy getting raised from the dead by the name of moses. the sound doctrine i recieved at this church resulted in many people in the barracks, where i lived, recieving the baptism in the holy ghost evidenced with tongues. good stuff. hope they still preach same good stuff as before.

I have many...many happy memories there, my children grew up in that church, and He is one of the greatest Pastors that I've ever had the privledge of listening to, because when he preaches it's not sugar-coated, it's the truth and to the point..which I really love and miss!!!
