Nyonya Tea Ceremony

Another interesting tradition in a Nyonya Wedding is the tea ceremony. This is the one time in any family gathering you get to see the 3 to 4 generation of relatives coming in full attendance to join in the joyous occasion.

Mother are called ebu or nia, and father are called ah tye in the olden days. That's how my mum called her parents.

Why is the photographer telling everyone what to do in the ceremony?? Shouldn't the photographer be the observing and capturing it rather than directing it....
