everytime MMA gets bashed its when people see ground and pound , i agree it looks cruel but these are the baddest martial arts fighters in the world they know how to defend themselfs and can handle some punches , + very good refs that know when to stop the fight before serious injury !

No matter what anyone says MMA has brought people from poverty to fame, it's the most effective technique/fighting style and it does less damage than boxing.
GnP is the only thing that seems to cause bad publicity, and that's only about 1/4 of the whole sport.
'Apparently there is a lot of skill in it'. As if there wouldn't be skill involved, fricken throwing a shoe at someone's head can require skill. At least she said that, the rest of them were plain bigots.
