@specialforces69 If he doesn't now, he will in time. I never realized how much I needed my dad till he was gone. He always told if I ever needed him, he was only a phone call away. Well I was a smart alick kid in junior high and my uncle was beating on me. So I called my dad and he was there in a minute. He was in Vietnam and nothing scared him. I'll never understand how a man can be like he was.

Thats all fine and good, I have just the opposite. My dad has 6 of us and 16 grandkids he doesn't give 2 hoots about. He also has 2 great grandkids he's never even seen. so if anyone can think of a country song that goes with that scenerio let me know and I'll post my dad on Youtube for all too see.

Lost my dad 2 months to brain cancer, he was only 51 and I'm now 21. Most people distance themselves from their parents at this age and take things for granted. I'm thankful for everyday I had with him and the lessons he's prepared me for in life.

My father died when I was 1 1/2 but I have 42 letters he wrote to my mom before they met. I found them over 50 years later and little did he know I would be learn who he was through them. I now see my father in me. I know his heart. Fathers, tell your sons and daughters your heart and who they are. It will change their world. I promise. It did mine.
