One of Australia's leading guitarists, Karin Schaupp, brings her passionate playing style to these jewels of the concerto repertoire. Her interpretation of the famous Rodrigo concerto will win all hearts, while the smouldering emotion of the Romancero Gitano commands attention. Bacarisse's little-known Concertino has a slow theme of such outstanding beauty everyone will want to hear it again and again! This inspiring album confirms Karin's status as a rare musical talent.

  • @sammy1339 I guess she feels it in her soul!

  • I am an Australian living in Israel and I have just discovered Karin's music. It is instant love - with the music I mean. Karin's playing seems faultless to me.

  • Hey Karin I doubt you ever read any of these comments. Well as always you are an exquisite musician and I love your playing and always will. I hope we catch up soon and get our lovely little-ones to meet. Love to Giac n mum. Karol

  • World-class, very accomplished so there is no need for the over-glam and clevage. You don't need to go there...you have it all.

  • .The Dolly Parton of the classical guitar world!! Humour aside, she is a wonderful guitarist and I for one will now be searching out her material now that I have discovered her talents on here.

  • What the hell does it mean to say you have a "spiritual affinity"? Its such a vague, buzzword and that sort of talk started making interviewing musicians largely pointless because they say the exact same things. Its my "passion", it makes me "spiritual".

  • Fair Dinkum , you whingeing bloody pom.

  • Love this recital, this lady has so much feeling in her playing, a female Julian Bream.

  • WONDERFUL!

  • breathtaking
